Getting Started

How do I create a Six Star Maids Account?

After you book your first appointment an account will automatically be created for you. You can view all details about your appointment using that account and also make any changes or preference requests there also

Do you service my area?

We currently serve Ithaca, Syracuse, Binghamton, rochester and all the surrounding areas

What is included in a standard cleaning?

Six Star Maids has a cleaning checklist that your cleaning professional will follow. You can leave additional notes in your account after checkout, by contacting us, or by providing instructions during your cleaning.

The following extra services are available if selected at checkout: Inside the fridge, inside the oven, green cleaning, inside windows, basement, move in/move out, laundry, and inside cabinets.

 

Note: To protect the safety of our professionals, we cannot perform the following: cleaning that requires climbing on ladders, exterior windows, mold removal, deep stain removal, insect and pest removal, cleaning pet messes, cleaning blinds, and items that require heavy lifting.

How much will it cost?

Simply Navigate to our booking page and you will be able to see the price upfront, that easy!

Do you bring your own cleaning supplies, products and equipment?

All of our professionals are equipped with their own cleaning equipment and supplies but if you have a specific set of tools or supplies you would like us to use, that’s not a problem at all either

Can I request special tasks or extras?

You can request special tasks and extras by leaving notes for your professional in the customer notes window before or after booking your cleaning appointment

How do I log into my account?

You can apply a coupon to a future appointment by logging into your account and clicking your name in the top right hand corner. You can then select “redeem voucher” and enter your code. The system will automatically apply the code to your next appointment. You can not apply your coupon to past appointment that are already completed.

How do I book my first appointment?

Booking your first appointment is as easy as ever with SixStarMaids. Simply navigate to the home page or at the top right hand corner of this page and you will see “Booking Page”; go there input your information, specify your cleaning preferences, enter a payment method and CONGRATS! you have just made your first booking.

Can I apply a coupon to an existing appointment?

You can apply a coupon to a future appointment by logging into your account and clicking your name in the top right hand corner. You can then select “redeem voucher” and enter your code. The system will automatically apply the code to your next appointment. You can not apply your coupon to past appointment that are already completed.

How Payments work

Six Star Maids only accepts credit/debit card payment for service, however your card is not charged until after service is completed.  Please note that on the day before service a pre-authorization hold is made to your card. This is just a hold even though some banks may show this as a charge.  The final charge takes place after your service is completed. Click to schedule service below.

Can I trust my cleaning professional?

All of our professionals are pre-screened, background checked and interviewed before hiring, so you can rest assured that our professionals are a perfect mix of quality and  personal excellence

Is my billing information kept safe and secure?

Every bit of info submitted to us is kept extremely safe and private, we do not need to communicate your info with any other company so you can rest assured all info is 100% safe and private.

Do the cleaning professionals go through a background check?

yes, every single one of our professionals must pass a mandatory background check

What is your 100% satisfaction guarantee policy?

We guarentee our cleaners will do an excellent job or we will be back to fix any issues you may have had, free of charge.

What is your refund policy?

Cancellations can be maid up to 24 hours before an appointment for a full refund free of charge, any cancellations after that time period will incur a $50 cancellation fee
